Not as pretty as some others but it’s drilled for 288 screen and 304 SS.

EDIT: I sort of went for the 266 deflector look because I always liked the look of them better.

3120 i bought a couple of years back, muffler has been gutted and larger port installed.
This thing is loud and idles like a 2 stroke dirt bike.

I wanted to try a different route than my other 572xp that has a welded on large deflector just for the hell of it. I had @SOS Ridgerider fit a large stamped deflector with nutserts. I think it came out real nice and clean.

I hear ya.
Tried silver brazing stainless yesterday. I think I’ll pickup some mild steel tube and paint them black from now on. Leave the silver stuff to the pros. Took me longer to grind the flux off than it did to solder the tubes on

I actually used stainless mig for those mufflers. Lots of grinding after to make em look pretty.

When he gets serious he swings through Taco Hell where he eats 6-8 burritos then inserts a tube from his exhaust port to a modded carb. It's good for an extra 75 hp.

Try it again with about 10% of the flux and report back, same with regular brazing, it don't take much.

I didn’t have much choice on this one. He said he’d buy it if he could have it right away because he needed it. Otherwise he was going to get one local. Somehow the stars lined up and it made it from Michigan to Simi Valley, California in 22 hours and was delivered 25 hours after it was picked up LOL. Standard post office shipping…

I own mig and an oxy/ace torch. Not a fan of a bead of weld around the outside of a deflector or a pipe, and it also sucks cleaning the weld up with a grinder and burr. TIG would be cleaner, but I don’t own one
