I haven’t heard it on the saw. It will definitely be louder but should breath better and help with heat.

Buckins vids are long and I don't normally watch them but this pooped up when I was gogling and has an interesting looking rams horn muffler. Looks similar to a couple already seen in this thread being a straight pipe straight from the cylinder split into to outlets through bends, but has extra curls?

Just finished a 357xp muffler. Used a 3/4" pipe thats about 1 5/8" long and resting against the partition wall inside the muffler. Removed a bunch of that partition wall.

Giant heat reduction mod on the ProMac 800.

Nice thick metal on the OEM muffler, I used a small ball peen hammer to stretch the metal after making a slot ,then squared the port exit with a peice of steel.

This method makes the 590 bassy instead of poppy, it's more pleasant to listen to.

I added a second outlet to my 6401/7901 muffkin Saturday night when I needed to go hide for a bit after working all day and part of the evening.
It was LONG overdue for that extra exit.
Used it yesterday and it definitely felt better but a touch louder than I like ..... I'm old.

028WB. Weird design. Partially gutted. Steel flap left for adjustment. Looks completely stock. The outlet on the muffler is pretty big just long inside and out with an odd path.
Ohh the color. I pick up cans of paint at estate sales if the are full and no more than a buck. I see high temp paint with no lid so grab it. I start spraying and go what the hell... Hum maybe I'll do the whole thing and see how it looks. Needs one more coat.
