The old Weldanpower series were excellent. I ran one for a while. They have the all copper transformers unlike the new units that contain aluminum. Once you get it going you won't be disappointed.

I like the KISS method, no shame in a simple mod.

It had a 3/4" pipe in it, then I thought that might not be big enough so I cut some slits in the side.

Not pretty, but it should breath a little bit better now. Stock ms500i. I left the baffle alone.

I modded this one because the original deflector was gone and so were the holes and most of the area where it attached. Small piece of rectangular tubing. It's on a McCulloch Super 10-10 I'm restoring

Stainless is unforgiving .......

NO amount of grinding or paint will hide the perfessional welder I aint

Stainless can be challenging, but that looks nice as far as my opinion goes. Ill bet it sounds great too!!!

Thanks fellas, but I believe that anyone that welds MUST be their own worst critic ! It’s the only way to keep honing that edge, and I definitely see room for improvement, especially in the fitup. That will make the playing with liquid & welder settings a little easier
