Lost my knife at work the other day, it was a spyderco. I was looking to get another one and noticed that they are now made in china, does anyone have any suggestions on a good knife with a serrated edge.

I get these off the snap on truck ,use the crap out of them ,if i break the blade get it replaced free ,Kershaw ,i think us made but who knows anymore ,i just broke the tip 2 days ago ,i usually grind it flat so it turns into a screwdriver .,the little holes are nice for yanking nails and staples out of wood or bending wire CIMG7466.JPG CIMG7465.JPG CIMG7464.JPG

Hey Numa. Bechmade Griptilians are probably pretty similar to whatever Spyderco you had. Probably find one for around $100. Still made in USA.

Not all Kershaws are cheena, I only buy their made in US knives. Same for Spyderco. Look for the US made models.

Highly recommend Benchmade. Can't go wrong. They have a mini and full size Griptilian. I carry the mini more that any other blade I own.

I don't know how big you were looking for, but Cutco actually makes a really nice small folder. Their double d serration is quite nice, very different from normal serrated blade. Cuts, where normal serration tears.

I have carried the Cutco same size as the one above, but not serrated, for about six years now. I really like the size and it takes an edge and keeps it very well.
