All I keep finding are the grey ones for a 562..

There may be some left in the supply chain if you can find an old J-red dealer that is behind the times or has switched over to Redmax. If you have no luck get with me and I'll hit up the Amish dealer up in Vermontville.

I guess I'll just spray them black. I only knew 1 jonsered dealer about 45 minutes from me and he really didn't have anything as far as parts go.

That's probably what I'll do, or just live with the fact they're grey..it's not that important anyway.

I always un-snap them when the saw is on the shelf, it's just pressure on them That's there for no reason if you're not using it.

I think it sat for a few years with them snapped on and they just got weak, one broke and I barely even touched it so I'll just replace all 3.

The OEM ones will not take the dye. Get some of the Stens ones they take the dye and have held up well.

If I feel the need when the time comes I might just try the black krylon for plastic.

Or see if slim tim can get black ones.
