Get busy living or get busy dyin...
My mmws MS261
25” stihl skip chain. Hard oak. Not a setup I run. I just wanted to see what it would do with the 25. Second cut was a ugly crotch.

Nice @kyle.kipple
Mtron or regular carb 261?
@Redbull661
8 pin may be not the right combo for work
Does it have an upgraded oiler?
Yea, I figured the 60" would be done by that point, I was concerned how much ground was getting cut with such a long bar at a steep angle (hopefully no ground contact).
I thought it ran well. I could tell it wasn't mtronic.Reg old school carb. I just realized i left the 8 pin on when I put the 25” on. Not a favorable combo on that saw but I’m proud of her.

Where did you get an 8t 3/8 micro spline rim?
Or did you turn down an old 8t picco rim?
241 comes with a spur. If you order the optional rim setup, it uses the same “micro spline” (as stihl calls it) as the 024/026/260/261 etc. Husky 346/350/545/550 etc, are a standard “small spline” which is not the same as stihl’s small/micro spline drives. It’s slightly larger. Stihl 360/361/440/441/460/461 etc etc use the standard large spline same as Husky 357/359/365/372/390/395 etc.this is a small spline or are you talking about the Stihl micro spline for MS241 etc?

Just to clarify if I may. Standard spline is smaller than large spline. Large spline fits 066/660, standard spline fits 044/440.
Some 036s are still microspline if it has the smaller 10x13x10 bearing. With the upgraded 10x16x12 bearing and sprocket, they use standard spline.
