I agree Jeff alot of good saws out there, I think dealer support is what makes or breaks it.

Yes. I still do not believe there is a single Dolmar dealer in RI. I never heard of them until I joined here. Lol

Only Stihl which I know of several dealers close by, or Husqvarna which there are just a couple. Which is probably why I bought a Stihl years back.

Which reminds me. I gotta get out more. Lol

Yeah I never heard of a Dolmar or Solo much in my area either, they do build some nice saws though, lately I am wanting to try an echo, soon as they start using a common bar mount and DL count

That is why I stuck with Stihl … B+Cs all interchange! Keeps it simple!

I agree Mike, that makes it so much easier, luckily Dolmar and Solo all except Husky mounts

Hell yeah it was a good running saw, that was 28” full comp and it pulled and oiled it good. Dallas had a 8 pin on his with 28” bar and it pulled it no problem buried.

Couple of MS660's, stock with Stihl brand bar and chain. Ported with Raisman bar running Carlton chain.

lol mine not sure how long into the day video was taken he was in charge of the saw most of the day lol i told him to run it

It’s got a lot of torque, less high strung than a 462. I was surprised that it had a 8 pin on it, thought it was a 7 by the way it pulled it. Very smooth too. I think a lot of you guys will like it.

The filter setup is probably the only thing I could nitpick if I had to choose something I would change honestly. It’s not terrible, just wish they went with the 462 setup. But other than that I think I like it better than a 462 stock vs stock.
