The 044 really liked the advanced ignition, gained torque and throttle response. Shaved about 3 secs off cut times on average about.

Half the key, as thin as my vice grips would allow. It didn't pop from being too far advanced at all, sounded clean. I did this to a 024s and it improved greatly too.

Yeah so after spending about all day rebuilding the carb and finally getting a working linkage I had a decent pass and then the chain broke and took out the fuel tank
