Somthin wrong with the 441, standard carb or mtronic?

Nothing is wrong with the 441. It will almost hang with a 660 with a 8 pin.

Run the same bar and chain on both. Different outcome. I had a 290 and 441 non m tronic. The 290 was no where near the 441 with any sized bar.

What if I do and the 290 wins or does not get beat by much?

Like I said my non m tronic 441 when stock would out cut my 290 hands down. The mtronic is stronger

Not doubting the 290 but I do port saws for a living and have ran a few 441's and 290's.

Sometimes those 390 cylinders are just "right" and with a little tweaking they become a 360 killer

I've got a different 039 that's somewhat ported, muffler mod, and timing advance. Just need a carb, haven't even ran it yet
