Doc has or had a nice little brand new ported 490 at our GTG. Ran real nice!

The 490 torture test red97 did was crazy. That thing pulled 3/8 32" like it was nothing.

Nope, the chain was sharp on both saw. The "290" will wip up on my 036 that has a new OEM topend with a base gasket delete and timing advance.

Run the same bar and chain on both. Different outcome. I had a 290 and 441 non m tronic. The 290 was no where near the 441 with any sized bar.
