I need to run the 2166 with a good chain. It was around 40% slower than a sort of stock 2171 with a ground square chain.

New bearings and rings. First run. Built by @Canadian farm boy and ported by some garage hack.

Joe it's been a real pleasure. Every part has been fun. I even enjoyed the oil pump hose. Lol. I'm glad you like the saw. Hopefully I'll get to play with it again someday. Maybe in October????

Put new crank seals in the junker 064 it's got a cross/mmws 066 top end. I opened up the muffler baffle and outlet as well as bumped the timing .015" at the key. 28" round filed. Seems to run pretty good, I'm starting to like this saw.

Them big sprockets take power to turn.
12pin is ridiculous.

1st ones a 10, 2nd one's a 12. I think the 12's a bit faster, just looking at the video timer. I didn't time the 9 that's been on it. It was pulling the 9 ok with 36" full comp 3/8 in TN so.i figured for playing it would be ok with the 10. The 12 surprised me though

I probably did at geniusfest. I ran 4 or 5 of them that were his. They pulled better than mine with the finger ports in mine.
