Sorry bro
Love them both! After checking out the veteran's memorial display in town today (parade we usually have was canceled), I decided to do a little old vs. new testing in tougher wood.
This is a Western Hemlock log I've been cutting on - it's not particularly hard wood but it's very stringy and has a lot of tensile strength -
Great ass shots JJ. @Canadian farm boy can give you some pointers on improvements. After checking out the veteran's memorial display in town today (parade we usually have was canceled), I decided to do a little old vs. new testing in tougher wood.

lol, Mike has it down like no one else...
Here's one of my all-time favorites - the block in this motor is the earliest SP block I've seen yet and has port timing closer to a 797 than a traditional 125. The exhaust port is
low and wide and you can hear it in the exhaust note. It was a .020" over block when I got it so I threw a new .020" over Mc101 "nine port" style piston and rings in it. Chain
is new Stihl 46RSLH on a 7-tooth sprocket. It would probably drive a 9-tooth sprocket just fine.
Looks good buddy! I have one to work on soon! How did you do the muffler? @41FanForLifePlayed around with the modded 355t some. Still on its first tank. I haven't ran every top handle out there but this one may just be my favorite so far
I just matched the inlet, gasket and heat shield to the port and made a stainless cover with a 7/8" tube. These mufflers are pretty wide open already from the factory but with a restricted deflector bolted on. If i were to do someone else's saw, I'd just mod the stock deflector instead of a tube.Looks good buddy! I have one to work on soon! How did you do the muffler? @41FanForLife
