I hear you. Maybe grab a nice test stick from a tree company? Have it high enough so its comfortable cutting for you.
Nice 18-20" oak stick would be nice.

I finally made it to camp the try out my @t4driller 359. Before running I had to do a few cuts with some solid stock saws for comparison, Shindaiwa 575 and Husqvarna 261 conversion to 262. All in the same wood- red oak. Same b/c in 261 and 359. The 359 is a beast!!! Thank you Mike!!!

394 and 661 both ported fairly hot running Stihl 325 RSP
394 has 9 tooth
661 has 10 tooth
Timber is white mahogany for the people watching that know aus hardwoods.
