The latest big-bore SP-125 in the wood. It runs great and the port work made a real difference, but it's absolutely painful to start.
I dont dabble in the old saws like that but DAMN that can sure turn a guys head. That thing dont burp one bit. Prob faster than a modern saw in the wood! Is that 125cc?
Far from stock then, that just adds to the cool factor! It won't be any faster than an 80-90cc modern saw until the wood gets about 40"+, then it just pulls away like a train. This one is .030" over so yeah, it's probably right at 125cc. The port work
in this one made a palpable difference.
Sorry sir I run dem bishes hard lolIt’s gonna take me that long just to clean the crap off his saws
She dose sound healthy! Is that one still points? The latest big-bore SP-125 in the wood. It runs great and the port work made a real difference, but it's absolutely painful to start.

Link to a recent full rebuild on an 034. It took a number of months as I had to rebuild an AV pocket, clean and fill all the mag rot, file
the high spots on the piston and a bunch more. Runs beautifully now though
chain is sharp, though it doesn’t look like it. I think it’s because the log isn’t strapped down

I was kinda guessing that, by your mention of hard to start. I am going to try and figure out how much to cut the key to get stock timing with a chip, it’s probably going to be .015 -.025 off to retard it. I like they way they run with a chip a standard flywheel, They start easy and seem to rev a little better than points, ImhoNosir, I had to run this one on a chip since I'm out of working condensers. I need to figure out the correct voltage capacitor to use in these and go that route.
Nice work on the rebuild Tom.
