Looks great Al. Eric, I will have mine there also, believe it is done the same. I'm running a 16" 325 bar, cuts very nice.

All the work and effort that went into this build is second to none. Way more work than most people realize. Every last minute detail was addressed by Doc. It is greatly appreciated, and I will have this at the GTG. I will also have a stock 026 there as well.
I will be honored to own this saw. Hopefully I will break it in prior to the GTG. I have both a 16" bar in .325, .063 Full Comp and in 3/8", .050 Full Comp. We'll have a good comparison for the GTG. I am really psyched. LOL

Raise your pop off a tad Doc.

Couple more psi will help a bunch.
So lowering (raising towards the carb) the metering lever will help?

Please explain how this physically works. My understanding is that the diaphragm is pulled up by a lack of fuel in the metering side of the carb and not vacuum. Just wondering what effect it will have and why.

I'll do that this week and see how she runs next weekend.

I did something different on the ports this time. I want to compare this saw to my 024 with the 044 carb and 26 head before I ship it to Jeff.
