Recently purchased a Husqvarna C83 100' Roll

I bought an extra roll to have on hand.
I made up some for a fellow who was running RMC. He said this is much better.

I assume that is Stihl Rapid Micro Chain that he was running? Nowadays the clones have arrived.

Yes, Stihl RMC. I used to really like it, but have found it starts to get jumpy with longer bars.
Prefer the RS style chains. May need to touch them up a bit more in dirty wood, but chip clearance is very good.
The "new" Husky chain clears chips well.

Just stumbled across this thread. I was looking ebay for Husqvarna chain and found c83 and c85. I only find .058 in the c85 and .050 in c83. So are these the exact same chain except for the gauge?
