Not yet. .050 and .058. Haven’t seen any full skip either
Holy moly that seems really expensive!!! Im sure it costs less than buying loops separate but just hearing that sounds alarmingI’m hoping it’s a little better than Stihl RM but not expecting it to be quite as good as RS.
RS around me is over $400.00 for a 100’ roll.
Ouch!!
It is very aggressive, razor sharp out of the box and seems to hold an edge for quite some time. The gullet has an interesting shape, it cuts quickly but most of all it's quite smooth. Why is this chain so popular? Has it been pre stretched?
It truly is. I loved rsc the most for the longest time but this might take the cake for "round" file chain. Also very fast!!!

Thanks for the info! My dealer keeps selling me oregon std full chisel and i bet they are trying to get rid of the old stock before selling the new... next time ill ask for itIt is very aggressive, razor sharp out of the box and seems to hold an edge for quite some time. Perhaps, ask for the C83 specifically. The oregon EXL is also nice. Thanks for the info! My dealer keeps selling me oregon std full chisel and i bet they are trying to get rid of the old stock before selling the new... next time ill ask for it
I never tried the EXL.Perhaps, ask for the C83 specifically. The oregon EXL is also nice.
I never tried the EXL.
The RS is not smooth when set up aggressive imo. If only more boxes of the old Carlton chisel just showed up that would be sweet. Saved my last two 72dl new loops for toy chain.
I like smooth 3/8 050. 404 don't matter.
It's still in the plastic wrap Time is not my friend right now. It going to look like a crash diet chain someday this year. The 4" grinder is a good tool to start in on it. Never had a fast chain and no one is selling any so..Pics of the toy chain
So when you guys buy a roll if 100’ c85 does it come with a whole bunch of gold links? I think the gold link is a great idea for finding your starting point when sharpening chain.
