I dug out no less than ten...yes ten busted up carcasses last night. Sadly there ain't enough good parts left to build a complete saw there. Yes, I want one too.

IMO, the 044/440 is the one saw to have, in most situations, if you can only take one saw with you. They are not the best at anything, but they will do everything well.

OEM PTO bearing, and a Nachi C3 6202 for the FW side.

These bearings (I bought a small parts lot on eBay) are sealed bearings........but I don't want the seals. So.....

Do you check the temp of the case with an IR thermometer or anything? If so what temp do you like the case at in order to drop a bearing in w/o needing any force? If it doesn't just drop in, what do you tap it with to get it home -- socket on the outer race only or something like that?
