We've just got a small herd. 13 nice Angus.....and one Jersey. The Jersey was for milk......but she is going down the road this summer. These Angus have a much easier time calving, and are worth more. Since it costs the same to feed em all.......well.

That one, and maybe a couple more were "accidents". The neighbor's bull decided to come visit without an invite. He is a nice bull.......but the rest are all breed to a registered Angus.


We have angus also, except the Red variety. Have about 35 calves so far. Best time of year for a cattleman. Got just a skiff of snow today. Good luck to all the cattlemen on here. Maybe we need a forum for fools that raise cattle.:bash::BangHead:

My in-laws do about 150-200 Angus feeder calves at a time. Helps neutralize bad crop prices and hail damage the last couple years.

I was in 4H for 8 years, raised steers and boy did I learn a lot and good fun. Miss seeing those bovine from time to time :)
