Mark if you decide to do epoxy on the floor let me know I will donate enough to do your shop.

Product made in US, actually here in KC. Check out Tnemec this is the same stuff that's on my
shop floor and it has held up Great! By the way Tnemec came from the word Cement spelled backwards just a little useless information.
How can I refuse that offer.
Chet ,u make me tear up with your generosity!
Let me know the details.
THANK YOU

Ok I hadn't had a chance to set back and look this thread over much but I definitely want to donate a Chainsaw Carving done by me, of course! I think I should let it be the winners choice.

1-Since it is almost Easter how bout a Bunny something like this.........But say 2-3' tall...this one was only 12"
View attachment 10809

or a Perched Eagle something like this one............

View attachment 10810
I can even add a name to the base of the Eagle or Welcome.......

Just thought I would bring this up again. The incredibly generous offer hasn't been listed as a raffle prize or been auctioned off on its own.

I am sorry I don't remember/ know your real name but you should check with Mark ( @hoskvarna ) and decide what to do with it.

My initial offer stands, if you want to do it as an auction I will open the bidding at $150 but I can't run the auction. If you need help figuring out how to do it I would look up Randy's thread where he auctioned off the skip the line for porting services.

Thanks, Gary

Mark just lost his shop in a fire.:(
Many of you know that him and his bunch put on a great GTG every year. Well........he needs a little help.

Of course the insurance company is dicking him around, and we all know that even the best insurance can't replace all that he has lost.

Many of our members have already gotten together to purchase a new MS461R......and it's in route to me as I type this.

It will be built just like this saw was.

Mastermind Meets The MS461

As we have done in past raffles, every 10.00 gets a chance to win. The drawing will be done near the end of March 2016

I chipped in 20, unfortunately taxes (home & Wife's 4th Qtr business) and car tags (4x) are getting paid this month... I wish I could help more. I didn't experience the level of loss you did but when my '01 F-350 C/C burned to the ground, taking my MS660, 039, H55 and 346xp along with all of my tree/saw related gear, a few guns, etc, the ins adjuster treated me like a criminal who intentionally torched 9K in tools and a 7K truck. Then he asked WHY I had the tools if I wasn't a professional logger and it wasn't a business. Apparently, most people don't have $2400 in 4 saws, let alone the other tools, SMH.

One would think that's how it works. But I've been threw a house fire. And carrying extra insurance and replacement cost on contents ain't worth the paper it's wrote on. Just like vechicle insurance. If it's a 50 state law that you have to carry insurance. Why must I pay an uninsured motorist premium. Lol.

Insurance is a racket unless you are one of the unlucky few that has to put a claim in for something big, then it pays off (sometimes). My older brother runs two state farm agencies. Trust me there is a reason he lives in a 4500-5000 sqft house and drives big SUV's and BMW's and goes on big expensive vacations.

Yep, been hosed by Ins. Co. Several times myself. Ever wonder why a $58000 truck costs the same as a $5000 truck and never decreases. Lots of problems with insurance company.
