So if this saw has a bigger combustion chamber it would allow more machine work and still have reasonable compression? Also since it has a lower intake it would require a fill too? If I didn't know that it was a am jug I'd think it runs awfully dam good holds revs and pulls very strong. That customer should be very happy. My only concern is how it would do with a longer bar and maybe some harder wood. 660-064s do 32" on the regular right?

Yes more can be done with this cylinder and the intake would need filled if it was lowered more.
Generally a fast saw is fast in any wood,I have a 32" 404 that I'll try on it in oak later today.

I would rather use oak but the pine is 20' from the shop so it's handy.

I don't know why Al keeps hiding that from me, the color is nice!!

FYI, one of my friends here in Brewster has an original 68 Vette (Yellow) with a 327/365 Hp motor. Very rare for that body style, not many made before they started installing 350s instead. For those of you not old enough to know, Not only was the 327/365 Hp Vette motor very desirable to have in a Vette, but back in the day it was one of the most desirable engines to have in a Chevelle, Nova, 55 or 57 Chevy, etc. It was a solid lifter cam motor (you had to periodically adjust the valves).
Duntuv 30-30 tap tap tweek
I turn my head and listen to the saw.
Was wondering when somebody would ask about idol-down look. lol

Welcome John
