Reminds me of the sound of 250cc engines on the starting line after the gate drops .
I have never had a saw that sounds like this one, has a almost lean cackle but it's not lean.

A test i never see guys do is stand the log upright to duplicate a felling back cut and start and stop in the cut several times like sighting a fall in ,this is where i like bottom end tourque ,in softwoods a peaky saw will not take off again good when the chain is plugged full of chips ,my 461 has an edge on the 440 hybrids felling ,i bet this saw would do good in a test like this ,a real worksaw environment ,a cookie cut ,or buck seems to clear the chips easier in my experience .Not sure if hardwood oaks plug up with chips like softwoods ,so may not work ??
May be hard to do a test like this without log rolling also .i am just thinking out loud here .

Chips clear much better in hard wood like oak,the pine logs at the shop will plug the chain and clutch cover.

I've never ran a hybrid that I liked the power band on,there to high strung to make a good working saw
The 461s are a fantastic running saw stock and ported,my favorite new stihl for sure. A strong ported 461 has nuts like a much larger saw.

Saw looks like it needs a shot of penicillin for that drip.

All the saws look mean as hell and hold great rpm.

Are you getting to the point where you can't tell anymore what's fast and what ain't?

So a 150# 064 is cutting right there with 200psi ported 66's.

Amazing work again Jason and mind boggling, to say the least.
