You mentioned member jchin in your video thread above. I noticed he is close to where I live. Just curious if he bought a saw from you or ported one that he sent you.

I ported it and made it easy to start because he could no longer start it.
Used a aftermarket 064 cylinder that has a decomp.

A test i never see guys do is stand the log upright to duplicate a felling back cut and start and stop in the cut several times like sighting a fall in ,this is where i like bottom end tourque ,in softwoods a peaky saw will not take off again good when the chain is plugged full of chips ,my 461 has an edge on the 440 hybrids felling ,i bet this saw would do good in a test like this ,a real worksaw environment ,a cookie cut ,or buck seems to clear the chips easier in my experience .Not sure if hardwood oaks plug up with chips like softwoods ,so may not work ??
May be hard to do a test like this without log rolling also .i am just thinking out loud here .
It likes regular 3/8 chain much better than the picco it is running in the video.

Edit: I noticed you mention standing the log up for the test the moment after I posted this video. Oh well, I'll leave it up to piss the Stihl guys off. Lol
