Hi everyone,
Looking for more people to come to some races over this summer. The Wisconsin and UP Chainsaw Racing Association will be hosting five events this summer (dates and locations below). Entry is $5 per class with 100% payouts as well as $10 for non-association members (if you want to join, be a voting member and have a voice in voting on rules, classes and get free entry to all WUPCRA events membership is $40 yearly). Pre-registration will be available, join the Wisconsin and UP Chainsaw Racing Association page and instructions are pinned on the featured posts section. A full set of rules, any event updates, as well as other local events not hosted by WUPCRA will be posted there. Feel free to ask questions and please come join us!

Classes:
STOCK:. No component of the engine may be altered in any way. No removal of materiel will be allowed, this includes polishing, porting, and deburring. Crankcase, cylinder, and carburetor must be OEM to the specific model of chainsaw. Aftermarket can style mufflers and extra hole in stock mufflers allowed. Aftermarket air filters allowed. Round ground chain only. No modifications to the chain chassis.
PRO STOCK: Must have been a one man chainsaw. NO Tuned Pipes. Gasoline only.
MODIFIED: Must have been a one man chainsaw. Any exhaust will be allowed. Top 5 fast times will advance to Finals. Finals will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. If a tie occurs in round 1 both will move on to the next round, a tie occurs in final will be settled with a cut-off. Rounds will not be back to back, there will be cool down time in-between. You will only have 1 opportunity for re-cut due to a malfunction. You will make 3 cuts down-up-down and must make complete cuts within the allotted area. NOTE: number of cuts and rounds may be subject to change depending on the participation.
