Think it was due to less oil in your mix or change in octane?Until a few weeks ago I only ran vp 93 but when I switched to 50:1 is also switched to 89 and my saws seem happier.
U wouldnt want to but we did see it on Chads dyno? Lower octane over average produced more?I didn't see 110 in his test??
Less oil produces more power?Think it was due to less oil in your mix or change in octane?
Your octane tests with your ported 362 proved the highest octane was faster????Far cry from 110. Might not have been 87 but it was close to it and clearly the higher octanes fall off as u go higher.
I'd love to see Redbull do that test. Same oil, same fuel, same saw, only different mix ratios. Like 50:1 vs 32:1. Most say more oil more power. I really don't know.Less oil produces more power?
I dont either. Most articles say more oil produces more ring sealI'd love to see Redbull do that test. Same oil, same fuel, same saw, only different mix ratios. Like 50:1 vs 32:1. Most say more oil more power. I really don't know.
I just dont believe my test was creditable . Too many variables in the wood and my cutting techniques at that time when I did thatYour octane tests with your ported 362 proved the highest octane was faster????
You did a good job I thought. At least it was consistent one way.I just dont believe my test was creditable . Too many variables in the wood and my cutting techniques at that time when I did that
Thank goodness for mtronics. At least for all these tests.Depends on the saw, and the tuner.
Surely some oils dont combust better and make more power? And the oil
Redbull's tests will hopefully solve that question with a comparison of timed cuts.Surely some oils dont combust better and make more power?
