The muffler has a bolt on cover just like the 400C. It will be easy to mod.

I’m referring to port matching. It looks like they have made the portion that inserts into the exhaust port part of the structure, similar to the 201t muffler. Grind all that away and you are left with very little, very thin stainless to hold that sucker on the cylinder.

Probably going to have to change a tube out to do it

Almost looks like they’re will be a little room to open exahust to match with tube, looks like the flange on exhaust port will cover part of the tube area depending how precise the fit is. Otherwise might be able to make a reinforcement plate to go inside back half or a new tube with flange on it that slides through a bigger hole in back half and gets tack welded or silver soldered to the inside of the back half.

They all have a plastic front handle even the old version same chassis as a 362. I think Stihl needs to mold a composite full wrap so we can listen to more comments about plastic handles not belonging on “pro” saws.
It would really trigger people to have to pay extra for that plastic wrap instead of aluminum tubing.

No special tool that was all wrong also it just needs a small screwdriver like a carb tuning one or little bigger, I have a 400 and a 362.
