372 just as fast as the 390. 395 the King.
In that video. His 390 didnt look too impressive but his 395 look really good. I have one of Randy`s 390s if u wanna bring it down and run Randys 372 beside it? We can run short bar then we can run my 28" 404 buried on it!!:D I can already tell u the anwser as Ive ran several 372, 372xpw, 044/46 hybrids & 7910 beside it. Carl ported the 7910 and its the strongest 70cc class saw Ive ran but when u strap 28" of 404 to a 70cc saw vs the 390 its like daylight and dark difference. That 395 and 3120 look awesome though

No worries, they all cut fast. Big stuff I grab my 660. 372 and 440/460 Hybrid for most of my cutting needs and a lot lighter than a 390 or 660.

Yes , but I believe he threw in the disclaimer that both were fresh builds and tuned rich , so not up to post break in performance.

Check out his 50-60cc fun shootout

Yes but his ported 390 was faster than either. His 390 was .5 sec faster than his ported 372. That 372 was very impressive
Each saw has its speciality in certain size wood and I'd say there's no "best" saw for all situations. Under a 28" bar I'll stay with my lighter hybrid and 372. 660 anything bigger. My 021 & 036 has it's place too.

Yes it did but it all depends on who ported a saw, whos tuning it, whos running it, whos loading it, how they r loading it. Its not always the saw
Many variables, not necessarily a competition, but very nice seeing them all run simultaneously in similar conditions.
Many people feel that these types of videos are the end all be all gospel of the chainsaw universe. But it is always easy for someone with an agenda to skew the results, like the butcher putting his thumb on the scale, this to can be made to look any way you want it to...
