I stalked your old arborist site post on the 660 build Randy and used those numbers. Widened, raised transfers and it is spot on. By far my favorite saw to run. I hope to bring it with me in December. I ended up at 98/122/82Send me a message.......I gotta get some info from you.
I wish.........but this jug would not quite get there. 98 122 83
Most all of mine have been 95/96 stockMost likely ran out of piston skirt, this jug probly started with an exhaust of 95 or 96
There were some slight miscommunications as to whether this jug was going to be set up for an 064 with smaller 5mm bolts and a narrower bolt pattern, or on an 066 with larger bolts and bolt pattern. It's my understanding that the problem is being worked out and they'll be available soon. What happened to the cylinders you helped design for the 660 Randy?
Would be nice to try one out with a good meteor piston.
Sent from my non internal combustion device.
Squish was cut three different times, I don't recall the amount. I'm pretty sure the base had .072 taken off though. That's good to know Deets. How much did you take from the squish?
That's correct Vince after updating my coil to the new one I was wondering what coil Stihl had put on them after they stopped selling them for a few weeks so I went down to my Stihl dealer and asked them to pull the pull start off surprisingly they did it's the same one I have put on mine and yes it's a little fat but it's safe.It runs better than it did before I just wish the Mtronic reacted a little quickerthe local ones have the new coils in them to have them running fatter.
Couldn't agree more I haven't had an issue with my 660 it's only stock bar the factory MM .In saying that the 661 is an awesome saw yes it has issues with the Mtronic hopefully they can get it right bar that I have no dramas with the saw .Me either! Not the smoothest or fastest saw but dead nuts reliable & tough. After M/M ported mine & made the oiler somthing the EPA would cringe at, its place is safe in my stable. Much better than stock. I have resisted buying a 661 until a few factory upgrades have flushed away most of its bugs. They are close, but not quite there yet.
How is the saw running Mike please elaborateM-tronic 661 ??

It runs Really nice, and has very good manners. If I was in the market for a saw that size I would have to take a hard look at that model.I heard it was bad ass......just sayin.
It's a ks red light cylinder, 93 117 83Holy chit 93* ex. Still the same duration?/timearea? That saw had to run funny..... or maybe they did something to to some other chit to make it run.....? Hell i am so lost.
How well does the KS jug with high exhaust run? It's a ks red light cylinder, 93 117 83
