Where can I find the IntelliCarb edition? Is it in the blind leading the blind section?

I'll admit I know next to nothing about the IntelliCarb carburetors. I'm still living in 1972 when there were no intelligent carburetors or cell phones. The IntelliCarb was invented by some very smart people because most of the people in the world are clueless when it comes to small engines and know nothing about carburetors or what they do. So basically you have a device invented by smart people for the benefit of dumb people.

I don't end up cutting all day anymore

IMHO the intellicarb was invented for people who don't like to clean their filters/saws. If you are cutting that much a spare clean filter would be a better option, my option. With intellicarb and dirty filter ,saw will still be getting slower, just not getting richer too

That said I do have several saws/carbs with the snorkels to the air filters from the carb cover..

What's a good tach to buy?

The oppama tach is good. Japan made. Dealer of husky and Stihl have tach available as well.

That's what we use, since we're an Echo dealer and that's who makes Oppama stuff.
