I seriously considered the 6100 also but Nate(fordf150) suggested for my use to get the lighter more nimble 2260.

That I can see but with my feet planted on the ground the 6100 felt better to me. Also some of the past 2260/562 issues came into it also.

I've never had a problem of any kind with my AT/Mtronic saws other than my first 562xp had a little hesitation off idle for the first tank of fuel but it went away once the AT was set.

I mentioned dollar per cc and i just figured out I paid $19.40 per cc for my MS 201T C-M

Ya 201's can hurt the wallet. I looked at a rear handle 201 last week and the wanted $700 pho then you would had to add tax. So $750 out the door for pho. Alot of saws out there I could get for $750 lol
I would still like to have one.

Hey Corey and EXSW have either of you tried the outer felling spike from the 5105 on the 6100 a bit of fab work and it looks ok

Our American inner spikes don't match the 5105 outer. And it is very hard to get the European inside spike. I would like to just to regain some of my bar leangth.

I just did a 60cc thread a week or so ago on PHO weights. Since bar chain set up and fuel and bar oil amounts all could vary. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/chain-saw-weights/60cc-weights/

Also did 50ccish thread. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/chain-saw-weights/50cc-weights/

Weight board broke down by brands. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/chain-saw-weights/

There isnt a whole lot of differences in weight for bucking. But for limbing I could see where the lighter nimble saws come into play.

Just comparison sake of some I have saved posted by others. Lot of the echo and dolmar are Nates.

All of the pics may not show up here to non members of CR. But hopefully enough show up for ya to give a idea. I think I have every maker covered.

16 pics total here.

I got some double bucking spikes from @fordf150 and these things are beefy! I wish I could post a photo but my Internet is being slow.
I also picked up a 24" Total L&T bar. I really like those bars and it balances very well on the 6100.
I used it tonight to take down a 30" white oak. Man I love this set up.20160917_183228.jpg
