Middle weight power house Dolmar 6100

I spent the afternoon cutting with both the 421 and the 6100. I know how many guys love their 421 and rightfully so. However that 6100 is awesome. It starts easier then my 421 does and man it just cuts. Lol
That time of year to go do some cutting and I can't wait.
I got a solid line up of tools to make the job that much more enjoyable and safer.
Got me some Dolmar chaps.
Not that the Dolmars are any better but I could get them with an extension to fit around my belly. Lol

I have the Dolmar chaps. In my case they make them long enough. They're pretty good but starting to show good wear after a couple seasons.

I don't know. They are a little broader then the the husky. Simular to echo but different buckles. Lol but I would like to know as well. I just hope that if ever needed they are as effective as others.

Yep exact same saw. Makita has owned Dolmar for 20 years. They are just now changing the name and taking over the distribution in the USA.

I taded one that i got needed rebuilt for a port job but i was impressed when i tore i down to build at how well it was byilt and the filtration system as well id like to come across one in newr future.i still have never run a dolmar.

I know mine is usually running on the second pull! Smooth saw with amazing torque for a 60 cc saw
