Yep that’s pretty much my thought. And then I grind them flat and don’t think about it againBut the 462 is strato. So they are filling the transfer with fresh air and then exhaust first? Head spinning.
Been pondering the same thing. Is opening Ex side first causing the exhaust to push the charge towards the intake side, let the natural amount of charge that gets sucked/short circuited out the exhaust be exhaust gas and not charge, or just allow the quickest flow there first to aid in direction and prevent short circuiting?
No idea.
