I wonder if a set of one way valves (reed or other) as near as possible to the crankcase taps would benefit the transfer hoses?

Yes! It never tuned in to make it's first cut.
Blown seal causing a pretty good air leak. New bearings, gaskets and seals are on the way for a rebuild.
It sounded pretty darn good for a little bit. Lol

While the fix for the transfer linesl was pretty straightforward. The intake manifold might prove to be a pita to find.

Hmm, a little too much heat I see. Wondering if you could find a high temp silicone boot like they use on turbo intake piping applications that would be small enough ?

Yes, the trouble is it needs to be 1.25" ID and I see those folks have a few elbows that size that could be cut. Otherwise trying to find some rubber type hose like I did for the transfer hoses. Originally I did not give heat a big enough consideration being it was going to make one cut and done. This obviously was a mistake.

It's a crap saw, so we like cheap. Can't have a 3 inch long hose be the most expensive part of the whole saw. Lol

A foot of it from the auto parts store can't be more than a couple bucks.

That's all I spent was a few bucks, so I'm game for trying something new. I'm hoping for a bit more flexibility over the rubber heater type hose. and this will go to 500F so I can lean the piss right out of it. LOL
