Spin a chain backwards and use a stone to true up the side plate of the cutters

Ya. Case has a hole in it...project saw I bought off someone that failed to mention it.

Trues up the side plate, each tooth is cutting the same. Otherwise you have them few rogue cutters out there grabbing more than they should

You end up with a very smooth finish. Like mentioned, no cutters wandering out real far, potentially slowing down the cut (talkin race chain here so going for tenths/hundredths).

Ya...first cutter takes me the longest. I normally do one to get it how I want it. Then the rest go quicker. I can look at the other cutter and make sure I am consistent off that. Once you do a few you get faster.

I do it in stages, one task at a time
