Ugh...I will weigh it next time I am in my shed. Was also going to see how much weight is actually removed when doing all this fun chassis work.
It does..I am starting to get the hang of it...lot faster than I used to be. Consistency takes time.
I've got Simington chains that are very ahead of my filed ones, just focusing on the cutter...............................my Simi has been Kevorized thoughStill thinking a filed chain is faster than a ground chain..
“All things being equal of course”..
Which we know they are not.
d1 thAt dave showed is my new one the one you have are from the old 450My best try at race chain was a good clip faster than 2 different grinds Dallas tried for going fast, same saw, same wood.
You got the 451C right?I've got Simington chains that are very ahead of my filed ones, just focusing on the cutter...............................my Simi has been Kevorized though![]()
Everything for adjusting that moves, moves a little more. You got the 451C right?
You move the arm in a little?
Everything for adjusting that moves, moves a little more.
Dont need to move the arm at all if you can move the chain holder instead.
Probably going to try getting an extra arm to really play

Any pictures?I've had 2 chains roll through the shop from guys that race on a national level, that's got me re-thinking some things.
I know just about enough to be a danger to myself and others.
in my first two chain tests, Dallas' ground and filed chain ran the same best time as John's filed chainJohn is like a damn machine in his vids. I think the file wins every time.

I need to get a little warm weather to run the next two chains on video.
