I need lessons on how you do that. Wish I lived closer...Been back at it about a month now, minus some mud/rain delays. Here’s a high stumped Red Oak. There was barbed wire in this one, which is why I cut it high, and avoided the blue.
The tree leaned in the direction my saw is pointing. I gave it intentional dutchman, and let it compress, and roll into my face cut. Worked great. Pulled a little fiber, but only about 5” of it - I can live with that. Laid the tree almost 90* to the lean.
