The low intake doesn't seem to hurt the 462. I doubt it will the 500 either.

Anyone tried screwing and gluing an aluminum coin to a piston with an aluminum screw?

I'm a fan of low exhausts in the 105-110 range like on Echos, they really seem to help with low end torque.

I’ve seen a spacer bolted into the combustion chamber to make it smaller to raise compression.

here is the freak out part, most of the people will hate me for that decision

i'am really not a PopUp lover but for the first try i choose the PopUp because the thickness of the cast on the intake side is very thin, i don't want it to put much stress on it on my first try. I have another stock piston, maybe i will do a squish cut in the future.

squish is now at 0.024" with the PopUp. Got around 180 psi. Exhaust is back to stock timing with 105°, tr just leveled.

The dimples work in some intake tracts. It's definitely not hurting.

I really like the saw, now that two are done I'd say they are impressive. I think they will shine in bigger wood with long bars, the video kinda shows that I think.
