Added another little PIONEER to my collection: PIONEER P11 electronic.

This is a rebranded Oleo Mac model 240. I bought the saw from Austria an interestingly there is decal attached to the sprocket cover reading "AL-KO International P11". Makes me think that AL-KO imported the saw and again rebranded it from Pioneer to Al-Ko.
There is no corresponding Al-Ko-sticker on the vent-housing, though...

I believe Pioneer after the P series they were more of a home owner saw rather than a professional series model like a Husky XP series then like the 460 rancher series, but they are good runners,

I worked on a neighbors yellow one with the auto decomp, actually pretty nice running saw and I wouldn’t mind owning it if he ever gets rid of it

Got it, so this is not a “pro” saw.

They weren’t designed as a pro saw , but they are good saws for sure ,

There's really nothing different than the pro saws about them. Different stater mechanism, maybe different porting? But they're every bit "Pro" style construction. Most similar to the Pioneer P41. Shares almost all parts in common except for flywheel/starter. I know that Farmsaws were even used in the logging industry as company-provided saws. 65-ish CC's. Some (although a bit of a stretch) even came from the factory with a 28" bar. Things that go wrong on them: Reed cage can crack, causing air leaks; Blue ignition coil can go bad, but can often be fixed by baking the coil; the top covers break; but most notably, the starter pawl gets rounded out. Very cool starter design, which engages decomp valve when starting. But also a pain in the butt to find parts for. I have an extra starter pawl sitting around.

Well, it runs! Problem is that little bar that pushes the starter pawl forward broke I think I found one on flea bay…

You can make one using a piece of wire and then temper it with a torch and bucket of water. Worked for me!

I am going to change the fuel lines and filter, any suggestions for a filter replacement?
