Haven't read the entire thread, skipped, jumped around...if all previous methods fail to get that head off...Tannerite will definitely do the trick. Make sure you egg splain to the saw owner, this was Code Black, Blue, or Red...whatever the local yocal hospital refers too.

Get a big eye bolt threaded into the spark plug hole, attach fifty feet of 5/8" chain to the eye bolt, tie the powerhead upside down on the bow of your boat. Now here's the crucial part, attach to the other end of the chain one 090, or two 048's, or six 031/32's, and toss into the deepest part of the lake. That should pull that cylinder right off.

You're welcome.

A: if the jug is free from the case ( may need a tap to break the seal) and the piston moves with the jug as one ( and the crank can spin), the nut has somehow fused the 2 together.

B: if the jug is free from the case ( it jug should then come off) and you cant turn the crank the nut has wedged itself between crank and case.

both are difficult situations to get out of but not impossible.

is it A or B.

I think I have a short block here, however I need the decomp off of it. Let me know before you start spending $.
@Definitive Dave, this is the one I got from you at the yard sale. Remember anything about it?

That was a far piece back in time, I Had no idea what it was at the time, but either an 075 or 051 I think.
Blast from the past for sure.
