Trainable to do what.... be the first one at the ER or on workmans comp?He might be trainable, he is enthusiastic.
Vid!I've only ever seen one lefty start a saw, my best friend. The way he starts his saw scares me, he holds it in his right hand with the clutch cover against his body then when he pulls the rope he uses his whole body which causes the saw to swing wildly.
He has a non decomp 55 and complains that it has too much compression to start and wished it had a decomp. I'm sure in some ways a lefty is more naturally suited to start a saw, but proper procedures is everything.
I'm right handed and always crank the top handles with the left hand. When I need the bigger saws I still try to use my left hand and drop start to my right. Starting a big saw in tree just plainly sucks, always go with the one that likes to run hanging.I start a saw left handed a lot....and i'm right handed.
Top handles i usually always start left handed.
uh huh.Jake are you a lefty, I've never paid attention to how you start a saw.
I'm not really understanding why one way is harder than the other.I am a leftie and drop start my saws, people have seen me do it at a dozen and a half GTGs.
oh yeah i remember that.If it was jake, you bet I would. Don't forget jake I've kept u from looking stupid on video before, so yeah...
