Try a 550 with a 16" Cannon Supermini bar with PS chain. That will settle it pretty quick
I hear a lot of good things about that ps chain. Especially on smaller saws.Ive tried .375, .325, and PS picco. The PS imo is smoother and faster than any of it
The 325 seems to self feed alil better but the PS worked really well on my 241 and 550, very smooth and can be leaned on and stays sharp as long as one keeps her out of the dirtI hear a lot of good things about that ps chain. Especially on smaller saws.
I switched my ported 026 from .325 to 3/8. It was the big thing awhile back. Then I watched @Red97 's videos of a 346 with all 3 combos. I don't have a lo pro bar for mine, but I put a loop of Carlton semi chisel 3/8 lo pro on a regular bar and it cuts faster and smoother than full 3/8. I've seen pics of a lo pro chain on a regular bar and mine didn't look the same. Numbers are worn off so I can't id the bar for sureI hear a lot of good things about that ps chain. Thanks man!!! I really love this lil saw with the 16" cannon picco bar as its light and agile and almost feels to float in handMan, that looks slick. Nice work Keith.
I love stuff like this. Looks original, clean, and more gooder and stuff. Subtle little mods like these really make a saw or anything for that matter stand out and gives stuff a personal touch.
Great job. Me likey
Someday I might have to try out a real husky...lol I'm really liking the looks of the new ones. I just don't know if I'd like to own one. I don't have much for dealer support in my area. The only husky saw Ive ever owned was a 455 rancher. Good firewood saw. Your 550 has me tempted. I also really like the looks of the 372 high top and the 395 high top. Thanks man!!!
