Keith,
Just curious but, did you , or can you, take a tach to the idle to get a Idle RPM....
I had a similar problem on a saw a few weeks back ( NOT A/T) and it turned out to be a washer was misplaced( reversed) on the clutch assembly.

I wish there was a way to bypass these A/T sensors so you can eliminate the Computer from the "problem".

Can I get a "horseshoe or handgrenade" for being "close"????

Glad you got it Keith....it's not easy to look past the computer for problems sometimes.

Well when u mentioned washer I had to go back and take a look. With the clutch cover off and with the saw cranked I couldnt hold the drum still at idle

Excellent detective work. I have one here that acts like it runs out of fuel when starting cold. It starts fine on high idle once it has been going. It seems like if I get it to start and give it gas instead of letting it sit on high idle it is happy. I took the carb apart and pressure tested the fuel line. It is a little annoying but it cuts great once started.

Sounds like he's real up to date. Probably be better off sending it back or buying the software yourself.
Ya Mike we dont have a full service Husky dealer here. I havent seen any Autotune products here anywhere. The dealer that I called that had never heard of Autotune was also over an hour away. Work on it yourself or send it off if u have an Autotune down this way

Wow that sounds like my area. There is more echo and dolmar support in my area then husky. And Stihl is everywhere. Lol
