Those few simple things are the best gain/time spent ratio there is on these. There's more to be had blending the riser block into the lowers, open the lowers even more, open up the exhaust and intake ports a little, and tightening squish but idk if it's really worth it. They come alive really nicely with just what you did. He should be tickled.
I'm having issues keeping it idling.
Loading up after a short while, running real rich on 2 carbs I've tested. One of which ran perfect on muh 346 until I swapped it when I put the pipe on.
Unudder reputable builder whom I've sent vids to wants me to swap out the coil.
What he says makes a lot of sense.
I'll try to post a vid soon

I've tried (2) different carbs.
The original and now the one off my 346.
Both doing the same.

I'm gonna try to mix up a gallon of non-e pump gas and OPE mix.
I think 1/2 the issue is this damn bike oil.

I rebuilt a HDA199 for my 346, but the Zama 32 works so good I have not had the urge to try it out.

Never been much of a Husky fan but this little Saw impressed me. It even led me to buy a new 545.image.jpg
