Come on over.

This one is a Custom Carry Comache (Commander length)

Like wise if you're ever going to be in western Pennsylvania come on over.
I have a great place for shooting...

That goes for any of you fellas! I'll gladly help anyone spend some rounds.

I've never been into wheel guns.

I only shot one once. A Dan Wesson 357 that a guy wanted me to buy from him. They've never been my thing, I'm more into tactical training and shooting and wheel guns have never been my style.

My dad had a Dan Wesson 357. Nice gun.

I love revolvers. The only Taurus I'd like to own is a raging bull casul. My pap had 3 and they all went missing:(

All I see stamped in is highway patrolman. I got it back when you were allowed to barter w guns. Had it a while I shoot at deer w it. We have pistol season here it's a nice shooter.

Highway Patrolman, also known as the model 28. It is the "less pretty" mor utilitarian version of the beautifully finished flagship model 27. It is an N-frame 357 mag. I have one in 6" and it fires full house 357s very comfortably. It's a very shooter friendly magnum. Full house mags from the N-frame is as easy on the hand as 38spl from a K-frame (model 19 and 66 to name two K-frame magnums).

I have a few S&W's..
- 460v, 5" bbl in 460 S&W Mag., X-frame

- 629-6 Classic, 6.5" bbl, full underlug, 44mag, N-frame

- 29-2, 4" bbl, 44mag, N-frame

- 28-2, 6" bbl, 357mag, N-frame

Only have two Winchesters as of yet... Will be adding a late New Haven model 94 Trapper in 45 Colt soon. It belonged to my Uncle who passed away a little over a year ago. NIB, never fired...
Want to add
- 1886 Short Rifle, 45-70
- 1892 Short rifle in 44mag or 45 Colt
- At least two more model 70s..

But what I have now, and sorry about the poor pics, they don't do them justice.. A model 70 Super Grade in 338 Win Mag I bought new in Nov '14, and a model 94 Big Bore in 375 Winchester, I bought in Jan of '15, claimed never fired and look(ed) to be the part. I have since fired it, and it's a thumper!

Yeah, it puts on a pretty spectacular show with 47gr of H110 pushing a 240gr XTP Mag. :D
According to my reloading tables, it's a 60k psi cartridge... That's centerfire rifle pressure.

Double hearing protection a MUST HAVE when firing indoors.. Muffs outside, even when taking a shot at game. Under no circumstances should anyone fire a 460 or 500 Smith with no hearing protection....EVER.

Yeah you're correct on that patrolman I googled that *s-word this afternoon. Lots of police units toted that model back in the day like way back 70 80 s or even before it's on Wikipedia

I can't speak on the really old S&W's, say pre-1930s or so.. But all "modern era" S&W DA revolvers rotate that way. Colt did it backwards, S&W corrected it... ;)

All kidding aside, some revolvers cycle clockwise, others counterclockwise. They all work.
