I didn't know that, but the one I've got doesn't click, guess it's really not a big deal just different from any other I've hadOnly .050" between MOA and 1/4" clicks.
I have one with an illuminated reticle, but have yet to put it on a decent deer rifle. I'm still shopping for the right gun.Vari x3 I hunted with for many years 2.5-10x50 with AO it stayed spot on
What part of Ohio ?
I'm a mil/Mil guy now. All my new scopes are going to be that. Quicker calculations to dial.
I like the simpler reticle Vortex uses in their PST. The nightmare MLR 2 is one I want to get time with. I looked at it at a store and think it would be awesome.Right on, mil turrets with a mil-dot reticle.
I used to like reticle's that like the GAP or the TMR, but after spending time in the woods and shooting targets in the brush it's easy to loose the reticle.
It's hard to loose mil-dots
That's a good foundation for an excellent rifle, given that the rest of the original furniture seems to be missing! I'd toss the barrel too, have the action blueprinted and make it into something fun like a 6.5-06, .338-06 or 9.3x62mm...Any of you guys or know anyone into these Springfield 03 A3'sView attachment 42323
The barrel is a new two groove. The action is a demilitarized that I was able to save. It's all stuff I'm looking to be rid off. That's a good foundation for an excellent rifle, given that the rest of the original furniture seems to be missing! I'd toss the barrel too, have the action blueprinted and make it into something fun like a 6.5-06, .338-06 or 9.62x64mm...
My young man is growing up.
Hasn't been any salt in there for a few years now.
