Remington has some rebates on right now, ends tomorrow. Here's my boys Christmas gift. Of course he was there, so it's no surprise. But I may have Rob Roberts work the forcing cone, port and a couple custom chokes made for it. 28" 3 1/2" 12 GA in wood, love the feel.

I have the same 870, just with lighter colored wood... What forcing cone work would you have done?

Lengthen to 3", polished out. Helps patterning a lot and reduces felt recoil.

Can't go wrong with Leupold. I won't buy anything but Leupold.

Can't go wrong with a Leupold thats for sure.Im looking at a new scope for my Savage 110 30-06 the Charles Daly willnot hold zero anymore. I have two leupolds one is a rifleman other is ultimate slam. Not sure yet on the 110 leaning towards a custom Vx2.

I've got a Leopold rifleman, very clear and seems to hold a zero well but I'm not a big fan of the adjustments on it. The knobs are moa with no clicks for 1/4".

Mark 4's here.

There are things on the Mark 6 and 8's that I'm not a fan of. Leupold hit it out of the park with the Mark 4 years ago with their higher magnification scoped.
