I would like that short barrel setup with a thermal imager, nowhere to hide with that. For now I will happily settle for my 33lb, long barrel McMillan and 8 × 32 Burris.
I've got an armalite. I think mine is 36lbs. Millett 4.5x14 and a bipod.
I tried to shoot it off hand once. Pretty much an exercise in futility.

I know nothing on the PX 4 storm. Or the FNS 9 but I'm interested in the FN. XD's seem a bit busy to me, particularly compared to Glock. I like Sig handguns greatly but have yet to even see their 320 striker fired gun

I haven't checked out the Beretta. I've got the xds for a carry gun. The FN are nice pistols and seem to be reliable from what a few people who own them said.

They are nice. This time of year it's not bad to conceal one that size.

Taken near Osceola Ia on Saturday evening. What dreams are made of. Some say it may push the world record typical

I used to use some of my McKenzie medium and large, full size archery targets on the edges of fields...would definitely pull the does and young bucks out of the woods to come and investigate.

Cool. Did you use a doe bleat or anything.

Yeh, I 'd use a can bleat/doe bleats.

If horn hunting, would grunt as well when I'd stick the little 8-pointer antlers on their heads. Have had several occasions where little bucks would just plow the decoy in the ground trying to scrap with it.

Probably the most useful was keeping the antlers off, hitting the area with Tinks' bombs or film canisters with cotton balls soaked in Tink's 69 during the rut. The does and little bucks couldn't stand it. They'd come across wide open necks and areas of the fields to see what the hell was going on. Lol

I've shot a few and when i found them i had to pull them out of a creek. Maybe the cold water stops the burning from the bullet?
If an old buck is wounded with a bad shot, they'll always either run to or eventually end up in or near water. If there's a beaver pond, swamp, etc on the property or nearby, that's where he's heading. I've seen it happen many times here. I found a big 10-pointer years ago that I took a running shot at through a small clearing...hit him high in the back, tracked him for a couple of hours. He did huge circles on the property, trailing blood everywhere as I was pushing him, and finally laid up in a beaver pond that was literally 150 yards from where I shot him.
