Nice...the full length stock is something of the past...you did good!! And the .270 with the right boat-tail rounds in the right grain, is a tack driver. I've got an ol' skool Winchester Model 70 XTR Sporter that the action and barrel have been glass bed...I can keyhole the same shots at 200 yds all day long.I picked this up a couple of days ago.
Old tang safety Ruger M77 RSI in .270, with a Leupold VX2 3x9 scope.
I have a soft spot in my heart for Mannlicher stocked rifles.
With the 20" barrel, they are perfect for carry in a scabbard.
