Took my Marlin 1894 .357 for a walk today. The Yotes were smart and didn't make an appearance.

Love those guns
A friend pawned a .44 mag to me
One time looked new.
Amazingly accurate with 240gr cast bullet's
I tried to buy it when he picked it up
he wouldn't sell
then I find out later he let a pawnshop keep it
For the 90.00 pawn ticket he couldn't repay
Someone got a nice rifle.
I wouldn't consider a remington era lever rifle
I don't know if I posted here but my
Lever action fanatic friend has most every generation of marlin
But tried to buy a few of the newer ones
He refused 2 at his ffl because of poor workmanship
Actions very rough and oddly the barrel's clocked out of alignment
ruger will revitalize that great platform
Hopefully.

Tried the wrangler at 50-55ft
I'm happy with it I'm far from a revolver shooter but I like how it groups
the trigger creep vanished in shooting it has a good crisp trigger now
Loading gates still a bit stiff.
The narrow front sight wanders for my eyesIMG_20210126_124731.jpg the top group of 12 was first shots
After finding out suprisingly it shot to poa/poi
I've never fired a single action that did lol

I was shooting this trash
I'm not sure if it was ammo related
But probably is
I was getting the occasional flyer IMG_20210126_124843.jpgi bought a bunch of .22 winchester and cci I'll try them next.
I've got a great nephew that has good eyes I'll have him shoot it.

I likem all! How do you like the Canik?
Canik TP9SF shoots fine...nice handgun for the coin no more than they cost. The Beretta APX 9mm, bottom center, will shoot the lights outta both the Canik and Taurus G3, at least in my meathooks it does. I’d go with the Beretta APX btwn all three, hands down.

I’ve enjoyed shooting 1911’s for decades. Have eight altogether and wouldn’t sell any of ‘em.
You've got double my number of them. Most 1911's fit my hand like a glove. Its like pointing my finger. My buddies Glock and my 92 Beretta, not so much. I have Smith & Wesson models 41 ( 5") and a 29 (8 & 3/8" Hogue grips) that point perfectly as well.
