Levi and his buddies borrowed the splitter and the term tearing up an anvil with a rubber mallet comes to mind.
Austin was clever enough to use the splitters own ram to bend a couple items on the log lift, shear a pin, break a weld.....

WE!!!!!!

Are gonna fix it today.....
They went and helped @Hinerman didn't they

Or just get rid of the habitual late calvers (must be the ugly ones if they are always the last ones bred), it’s similar to keeping the ones that want to kill you because “they raise a hell of a calf”, no point in that in my opinion. But its worked for them for 40+ years.

A shot of pg before they turn the bull out will help with that.

I haven't seen one in years. For some reason hammermills were the type to have around here.
We got a grinder/mixer, but I don’t like the powder it makes..
Weaned calves really like the rolled oats as a straight feed, and it seems to keep their belly’s happy.

I planned on keeping a gravity box of corn and soybeans too..

May just have to use the damn grinder/mixer.

High here today was 24. [emoji3525]

Battery finally shot craps in the ‘95 Dodge. Been expecting it as it was old five years ago.[emoji15]

High tomorrow to be 47. [emoji322]

Put the trickle charger on him so we can get to the battery store Monday. [emoji1696]

Are you getting rolled or steam rolled oats?
Neither...
Last time I fed oats was a few years back and I rolled them and mixed myself..
No steam.. just rolled flat..

But when I moved here, I left the roller mill in Seymour..

Didn’t think I’d need it... pfffttt...

Brother said the 8300 Deere wouldn’t budge it & the 8520 had 4 flat tires. Nothing quite like being prepared when going to the field. That poor guy is going to have a long winter. I told him I had the 300 Farmall out today & it’s tires were all up I could bring it out. Lmao.
